I’ve noticed that the unstable nix documentation uses mdBook now - this is an amazing improvement over the old rendering! It’s so much easier to read and search there.
Sadly, this doesn’t seem to be the case for either of the other manuals (e.g. the nixpkgs manual). I think this would be especially helpful for the nixpkgs manual because that manual documents all the various language/framework/tooling bits in a lot of detail, which makes the document big and cluttered.
Is moving to something like mdBook planned there as well? How can I help speed up the transition if so? I’ve found various pull requests around the topic of moving to CommonMark, are those related?
