Which gimp version do you guys like best

gimp-2.10? gimp-3?
or maybe a -dev or another fork?
gimp-2.10 has a much lengthier build time with fontconfig warning spam that fills the entire shell cache within about 20 seconds. gimp-3 build seems much cleaner

I think this fontconfig warning spam:

gimp> Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file: No such file: (null)
gimp>
gimp> Fontconfig error: No writable cache directories
gimp> /var/cache/fontconfig
gimp> /homeless-shelter/.cache/fontconfig
gimp>
