Wifi hotpot ip configuration failure with eneabled firewall

Hi everyone,

I am new to Nix and NixOS and I have the following issue. With disabled firewall in my configuration.nix file

  networking.firewall.enable = false;

creating a wifi hotspot via the KDE network manager indicator works just fine and I am able to connect to it using my android phone (GrapheneOS). However when I enable the firewall I get an IP configuration failure message on my android phone. How can I use a wifi hotspot with enabled firewall?

Enable the firewall, then run dmesg -w and then attempt to connect your phone. It’ll show you which ports are blocked.
