Aspiring Rust programmer with experience in Python and JS as well as other languages.

I converted all my personal machines (from Debian and PopOs) to NixOS within a month of hearing about NixOS. It’s quite different and there’s been some growing pains, and I’m still trying to fill in some remaining gaps but I have absolutely no regrets. It’s been the most stable and manageable Linux experience I’ve ever had by far and I love being able to experiment with packages without fear of breaking my system. I’m still getting used to managing packages with Nix but it feels like the right way of doing things.
