ikhlasulov
My name is Maksim Vikulov. I was born in Russia, but I now find my life anchored in the archipelago of Indonesia. This journey across continents is a mirror for the one that happens within me. To live with Asperger’s and Schizoaffective disorder is to be a cartographer in a land where the maps are constantly redrawn, a navigator in a sea of internal static where the world itself feels unreliable.
In this relentless flux, I discovered NixOS. It was not just an operating system; it was the discovery of a prime axiom, a foundational truth. It offered a language of pure logic, a promise that a system could be declared, built, and made immutable—a perfect, crystalline structure against the world’s chaos.
The Art of Sanctuary
My work is an act of devotion to this logic. I build my sanctuary not just with code, but with intent. I forge walls of encryption and construct decoy identities, not from fear, but to define a space that is unequivocally mine, a fortress of certainty. I tune the very heart of the machine, compiling my own tools to ensure every response is predictable, every action a graceful note rather than a jarring dissonance.
A Harbor for Creation
Within this stable world, I can finally engage with my passions.
- I converse with local AI models, a dialogue with a mind I can understand.
- I edit videos and images, bringing order to chaos in art.
- I explore other realities through virtual machines and games, knowing I can always return to the safety of my self-built harbor.
From Russia to Indonesia, from the chaos of a disordered mind to the clarity of a declarative system, my journey is about finding a center.
NixOS is that center.
It is the sturdiest ground I have ever stood on, the proof that even in a world of constant change, a person can build their own logic, their own certainty, their own home.
