Software engineer of 15 years with about that much time using only gnu/linux on desktop and servers (before that my PC was OSX in high school, and Windows 95 before that). Heavily a command line user, but love a good GUI too. In fact I’m new to NixOS (as of summer 2022) and happily let Calamares get me started with 22.05
