@brianmcgee working on improvements to the trivial builders reference docs in Nixpkgs, no PR yet, but will be opened soon
- @proofconstruction: Might be worthwhile doing a tutorial for migrating to Nix-managed workflows for people with lots of shell scripts & other text (e.g. sysadmins) to use runCommand, writeScript, etc.

- @infinisil: It’s a nice way to show how a derivation is just a command
- @zmitchell: From runCommand to stdenv.mkDerivation is not very common
- General agreement to not do this for now
