Hello everyone!
I moved from the outer burbs of Chicago to just outside Boise, Idaho in July of 2024. Something I never got a chance to do was attend any NixOS group meet ups while in Illinois. I lived to far from the city and my kids were still pretty young.
Now, things are a little easier for me to get out during the week to attend meet ups and wanted to get together a local NixOS group. For those who have started local groups, I was hoping for some advice?
- Where/how should I go about finding other NixOS folks in the area?
- What type of venues do you look for when trying to organize meetups? I was considering libraries, universities, or coworking spaces…
- Is there anyone here that is a part of a large and active local group that I could use as a mentor/get advice from?
