Today I installed the latest version of Discord from nixpkgs master after uninstalling the version I previously had. About an hour later, I launched dmenu, and it showed rectangles for all characters. Alacritty refuses to launch because of missing fonts, and Firefox now segfaults. I reboot my system, and now even i3 is unusable.
I have a big exam tomorrow, so uh Live USB time :P. But this sudden system failure seems very non-NixOS-like, so I thought I’d report it here. When I have time (and a working laptop) I’ll try to debug further.
