Couldn’t wget a page with this (temporary failure in name resolution), seems to be missing networking support.
I’ll see if I can get networking or make it a toggle

Cool, it worked well for me on Firefox, I could even run some python code. However there was a lot of lag, every keyboard press would take a couple seconds to appear on the VM.
A big use case is providing tutorials/training/guides. It reminded me of Katacoda, which was bought by oreilly and shutdown. It had guided exercises to learn many different technologies (video).

Every subsequent invocation of the binary is “faster” because of the JIT but yea it’s a lot of emulation.
I don’t know if it’s going to get faster… If others have ideas or want to help me – help appreciated.
Another idea is to have nixpkgs start publishing wasi (wasm) variants of packages that we can run natively much faster…
