The NixOS Foundation invites eligible individuals to apply for an internship in the Outreachy June 2025 – August 2025 program. Outreachy offers paid, remote internships to individuals from groups traditionally underrepresented in tech, providing hands-on experience in open-source development.

Who can apply?
Outreachy is open to applicants worldwide who are 18 years or older by June 2, 2025. The program specifically supports:
- Women (both cis and trans), trans men, non-binary, and genderqueer individuals
- U.S. residents and nationals who are Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American/American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander
Stipend:
Interns will receive $7,000 USD for the three-month internship period.
