I’ve been experimenting with a NixOS as an soe for desktops. I’ve set up gnome as the DE which is working fine, and also added the Arc menu gnome extension to replace gnome’s launcher, which I don’t like.
Everything is working fine, but I notice the Arc menu always looks strange when used with a light theme. Dark themes are fine but all light themes have bright green text, so you can’t read it.
I’m seeing the same behaviour with 20.03, 20.09 and unstable and with both the old undeveloped Arc Menu and the new maintained version Arcmenu - all with the same results. It also happens with any light shell theme that I’ve tried.
Any ideas on what might be casuing this?
