Thanks everyone for participating — mentors for welcoming contributors, applicants for putting in the effort to get your hands dirty with all things Nix!

The contribution phase has come to an end and mentors will now select an intern each.

As noted initially, the NixOS Foundation will fund an intern to work on our integration with of NGI software, but other projects need their interns sponsored as well. If you’re a decision maker and want your organization to visibly support inclusivity in tech as well as a continued evolution of the Nix ecosystem, please consider sponsoring Outreachy — you can earmark your contribution to projects related to NixOS. This would enable more mentorship projects become a reality this year.
