I have a speaker-only bluetooth device. When I connect, it shows as a recording device, with a profile “Audio Gateway”, but not as an output device. I can go into System Settings/Sound and switch the profile from Audio Gateway to Headset, and it works. As soon as I close System Settings, however, it goes back to the Audio Gateway and reverts to an recording device. I have tried changing it with pavucontrol which also works until I close pavucontrol, at which point it goes back to being a recording device. I have “forgotten” the device and made a new connection. Any ideas? I suppose this could be another bug from plasma 6.7.
