The libbitcoin family of packages in nixpkgs is looking for new maintainers.
If nobody steps up, and we can’t find an automated way to keep them updated, I think we should remove them, since they’re sensitive packages which have been the targets of exploits in the past, see Milk Sad.
I’ve personally failed to update them to patch said CVE (thanks @wegank for taking care of that in this PR), which made me realize that I’m definitely not keeping a good eye on things, hence this post.
