We are pleased to announce the Nix and NixOS devroom will return for another year at FOSDEM 2025, and with that comes the Call for Participation!
The Nix and NixOS devroom aims to provide a safe space for the Nix community and its extended projects, to give time and space for both technical and non-technical talks about Nix/NixOS.
We—the Nix and NixOS devroom managers—hope to see you there.

- Announcement of selected talks: 2024-12-14T23:00:00Z
- Conference dates: 2025-01-31T23:00:00Z→2025-02-01T23:00:00Z
- Nix and NixOS devroom date (to be locked in): 2025-01-31T23:00:00Z, first half of the day
Practical information
- The duration of talks should be between 15 and 25 minutes, including Q&A
- Accepted speakers will be notified on the email they submitted their proposals with
- The CFP is hosted by FOSDEM

Values
The Nix and NixOS devroom will stay true to the Nix’s community values, we expect the devroom managers, attendees, and speakers of the Nix and NixOS devroom to do the same.
In addition to our own values, we’ll also follow the FOSDEM Code of Conduct, accepted speakers will have to explicitly agree to FOSDEM’s Code of Conduct.
