Ever since plasma 7.1, and continuing into 7.2, I can’t change the login screen background in System Settings/Login Screen. When I choose a different image, I get a pop-up message “Save Settings in Plasma Login” “Authenticating as” with my user name. When I enter my password, nothing happens. The Apply button stays active, and if I close the screen, it says that I have unapplied changes, so nothing actually happened when I “authenticated”. Any thoughts? I’m not using plasma-manager.
I noticed this as well.
I’m using plasma-login-manager and my login screen wallpaper is no longer being used since plasma 6.7.x; I’m setting it directly using plasmalogin.conf, and it worked properly in plasma 6.6.x.
