We the Steering Committee are announcing the following changes to improve trust in the evolution of both the Code of Conduct and the Moderation Team:

  • The Steering Committee formally approves the current Code of Conduct as is (without any changes)

    We continue to collaborate with the recent Moderation team and we believe they will do an excellent job going forward.

  • Future changes to the Code of Conduct must be approved by the Steering Committee (by majority vote)

  • The Steering Committee formally approves the current composition of the Moderation Team

  • Future additions to the Moderation Team must be approved by the Steering Committee (by majority vote)

Furthermore, we do not expect to intervene significantly in the Moderation Team’s affairs except in cases of significant malfeasance, misconduct, or dereliction of duty. Their effectiveness necessarily requires a significant degree of trust and latitude.
