Cryptic error message after upgrading to 23.11

Hi, I just upgraded from 23.05 to 23.11. When I compile home manager I get a cryptic error message.

error: syntax error, unexpected PATH_END, expecting DOLLAR_CURLY

       at «string»:1:1:

            1| /home/rasmus/.local/share//home-manager/news-read-ids
             | ^

Is there a way to get more clues to way is wrong?

I use flakes
