hi folks
i’m using gnome and wayland with a hidpi screen
i’ve got flatpak apps, and gtk 2 ones (I think?) and gtk 3 ones and qt ones and xwayland ones etc. etc.
i currently have set the xserver dpi, have set 200% scaling in the gnome settings apps display settings, i’m using stylix (in and out of home manager) to set the cursor size (no theme), and i have xdg-desktop-portal-gtk installed
i can’t seem to change cursor size without one of these apps rendering the cursor at a different size (tiny, slightly larger, extremely large and pixelated)
there seem to be a whole bunch of related reddit/forum posts, github issues, etc. - both nixos and general linux - around the issue of wayland, hidpi, cursor sizes, etc.
i’ve been around the houses, feels like i’ve tried all the solutions one way or another, so any advice would be really appreciated!!
