Dual booting gnome and plasma

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice on setting up a dual boot system with KDE Plasma and GNOME. Here’s my situation:

  • I primarily use GNOME, but I need to switch to KDE Plasma for watching HDR content.
  • Switching back and forth between desktops is cumbersome, especially because my GNOME configuration gets messed up (cursor turns into a square block, requiring dconf reset and re-configuring everything).
  • I’d like to keep my KDE and GNOME environments completely separate to prevent conflicts.
