Hi all. I’m available for contract work, part-time or full-time, around NixOS, Linux infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

What I run with Nix today

  • My daily desktop and servers are one flake, about 400 commits, with agenix/sops secrets and a one-command reinstall.
  • Client apps deployed to NixOS VMs with nixos-rebuild --target-host from GitHub Actions. One of them is a keg-tracking PWA in production, with Caddy, Docker Compose, security scanning gates, automatic rollback and Telegram alerts.
  • Nix dev shells for Go, TypeScript and Python services.

Wider background

  • Since 2023, infrastructure contractor for a Swiss hosting company: blockchain full nodes, a storage migration across a 39-server fleet, BIND9 and PowerDNS nameservers, Virtualizor KVM templates, and runbooks.
  • As hands-on CTO of an events platform, I moved it from Azure to Hetzner in one night with no data loss, and operated its k3s and ArgoCD cluster.
  • Go, Python and Bash. Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Elastic for monitoring.

Good fits: moving a team’s servers or dev environments to NixOS or flakes, deploy pipelines, Hetzner or Proxmox setups, and ongoing ops for small teams.
