- Future of the team?
- Problem: Unclear whether the team will be sustainable with infinisil not being part anymore
- Options:
- Leaderless team?
- @infinisil: From experience you need someone to be the fallback for keeping things moving
- Less meetings?
- @infinisil: From experience (NAT), once every 2 weeks is the minimum to keep a team together
- No meetings?
- @jfly: It’s great to be able to chat sometimes (in-team and for others)
- @jfly and @MattSturgeon are new but the most active members
- @infinisil would feel confident with that
- Split up team responsibilites (codebase, docs, Nixpkgs formatting, CI, treefmt)
- Probably won’t work very well
- @infinisil to become a normal team member, relinquish lead responsilities, become more of an adviser, only there for meetings
- @jfly could be team lead
