GitStats for nixpkgs

I recently ran GitStats on nixpkgs: GitStats - nixpkgs. The tool presents various activity statistics of the repository.

For example, if we assume the timezone info to be accurate, about 500k commits were done at a European longitude versus ~150k in America and ~40k in Asia.

It took quite a while to run, so I figured it would be nice to share the results here :slight_smile:

Yes, I deleted that one on purpose. It only considered local tags, so there was no real value there.

And the only metric “Average commits per tag” did not seem that interesting anyway…
