Help! I just installed NixOS with Deepin desktop today and for some reason I cant launch non Deepin apps e.g. vscode wireshark thunderbird unless I launch them from the terminal

I absolutely love the look and feel of Deepin Desktop but if i cant fix this issue i will have to
switch to a different desktop environment :[ and i dont wanna do that!

If you have any ideas n how I can fix this issue I will be extremely grateful

Seems to be the same as Deepin not launching programs · Issue #300256 · NixOS/nixpkgs (github.com), please check if the PATH environment variable is legal
