How can a login to a laptop that is setup as autologin with Kodi?

I have a laptop that serves Kodi, but sometimes I need to login to do some other work; this seems impossible, as it just auto login to Kodi;)

Is there some smart way or do I have to launch another Xorg server on another vt or some other nifty trick?

You can probably use a NixOS “specialisation” to create a configuration which boots to a display manager of your choice. You can then log in from there. See NixOS Specialisations - How do you use them? - #8 by 7c6f434c
