How does Google Chrome store and encrypt passwords on NixOS?

I noticed that Chrome on NixOS does not use Gnome keyring even if I’m using Gnome, so I’m curious how are my web passwords encrypted, if at all?

I’m using a fresh NixOS 23.11 installation.
