How to get rid of x86_64-darwin warning

I am very tired of seeing evaluation warning: Nixpkgs 26.05 will be the last release to support x86_64-darwin every single time I run any nix command. I have the following in my configuration:

nixpkgs.config.allowDeprecatedx86_64Darwin = true;

But it seems to do nothing. How do I actually silence this warning?

How are you setting systems in your config?

I’m using a barely-modified version of the nix-darwin system config template:

{
  pkgs,
  lib,
  inputs,
  ...
}:
{
  nixpkgs.config.allowDeprecatedx86_64Darwin = true;
  nix.settings.auto-optimise-store = true;

  environment.systemPackages = with pkgs; [
    syncthing
    nixfmt
  ];

  # Necessary for using flakes on this system.
  nix.settings.experimental-features = "nix-command flakes";

  # Set Git commit hash for darwin-version.
  system.configurationRevision = inputs.self.rev or inputs.self.dirtyRev or null;

  # Used for backwards compatibility, please read the changelog before changing.
  # $ darwin-rebuild changelog
  system.stateVersion = 6;

  # The platform the configuration will be used on.
  nixpkgs.hostPlatform = "x86_64-darwin";

  programs.direnv.enable = true;
}

What nixpkgs are you using? What is the url?

I’m using 26.05. Here’s the flake.nix, which is the only other file in my config:

{
  description = "nix-darwin system flake";

  inputs = {
    nixpkgs.url = "https://channels.nixos.org/nixos-26.05/nixexprs.tar.zst";
    nix-darwin.url = "github:nix-darwin/nix-darwin/nix-darwin-26.05";
    nix-darwin.inputs.nixpkgs.follows = "nixpkgs";
  };

  outputs =
    inputs@{
      self,
      nix-darwin,
      nixpkgs,
    }:
    {
      # Build darwin flake using:
      # $ darwin-rebuild build --flake .#hostname
      darwinConfigurations."hostname" = nix-darwin.lib.darwinSystem {
        modules = [ ./configuration.nix ];
        specialArgs = { inherit inputs; };
      };
    };
}
