How to install correctly, after installing the package pkgs.megasync, I can’t log in via GUI.

Seems like it stopped working after megasync version >=5. They changed the GUI significantly and then things just disappear after a few milliseconds. I’m not getting any luck with mega-cmd as well. Will revert back to the old version.
Has anybody been able to run megasync in the latest version ?
