Unfortunately the above driver is not being loaded properly so I dont have no network when trying to install (I use x11/plasma installation).
With “modprobe ax88179_178a” the driver seems to be loaded, but theres still no network connection available, even after “ifconfig eth0 up” (dhcp environment).
So, I struggle in the first installation step cause there is no step forward without internet connection.
What to do? Hint: the same computer has ArchLinux installed and everything works fine, the AX network USB adaptor performs perfect.
