I woke up and saw the future

I just opened the lid of my laptop and my time clock said it was the year 2076. So somehow the system clock got out of wack. Any idea how this could have happened? NTP is on and normally working (still working now, a few days after). Was it a bit flip in RAM or the disk?

I’d also consider a borked RTC or empty CMOS battery.

Was quite a pain to get working since, systemd-resolved did not want to lock up the ntp address because the certificate had expired or something like that

Yeah… no certificate is valid until 2076 I guess
