Linwood Butterfly pen not working

General Information

I am on the unstable branch of the nix packages, on a Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 gen 9 and using a Lenovo Precision Pen 2 and zen-browser.

Expected Outcome

I want to use the note taking app Linwood Butterfly, which has an official nix package simply called butterfly for taking notes and more specifically writing on the integrated whiteboard with my pen.

Problem

I can install it without a problem and seemingly everything works, but it doesn’t properly recognize the input of my stylus.
The program has an integrated input test, where you can press with a mouse, your finger or your stylus in a small field and it shows you the type of input (touch / mouse / pen) as well as a boolean for whether it recognizes an input and a float for the applied pressure.
Now when I use my pen or my finger, it determines the type of input correctly as a pen / touch, but the pressure stays at 0.0. Any idea how to fix this?
There is also a Web App version of the app, which previously worked, but also does not work anymore.

Which version of Butterfly are you using?
It was a known issue but got fixed in 2.2.1:

Hi, I’m the developer of Linwood Butterfly.
I didn’t made the nixos package but I can say about the general app.
The bug was finally fixed in a beta version of 2.3.0. The stable 2.3.0 was released on the easter sunday. I saw the package was updated a few hours ago (butterfly: 2.2.4 -> 2.3.0 · NixOS/nixpkgs@0da1e22 · GitHub).
An upgrade should fix the problem.

(I will look at making the nixos package official)
