This is great to hear! Before I used NixOS I tried using Guix for a while, but the (relatively small) barrier to submitting changes was one of the things that eventually made me switch to Nix. I know lots of people enjoy submitting changes via mailing list, but for most people nowadays who are used to using GitHub/Gitlab a web interface is much simpler.
Slightly surprised that they didn’t choose to self-host a Forgejo instance, but I like what Codeberg are doing and should probably migrate some of my projects there as well.

Let’s have more of that
Microsoft also wont allow me to search the nix codebase, unless i pay them with data.
Is there an alternative? Rn i’m stuck downloading and then searching locally.
Keep downloading and searching locally, you can use Sourcegraph in the web but a local experience will be better
