Hey, is there something as detailed and good as Nix Pills, but modern? I am referring to the new cli commands, e.g. nix run nix build, nix store, … as well as flakes. In Pills they do a lot of stuff that is not recommended anymore, such as using nix-env…

I only know zero-to-nix but AFAIK doesn’t goes as in depth as the pills.

Ah yeah, I went through that already and it was really nice. Thought there was another popular one. I also went through the Tony Finn Series for flakes.

I don’t consider Nix Pills to be good in any way. Just skimmed through it again and after understanding things from a flake/nix3 perspective it makes more sense but it’s still a very weirdly written jumble of documents.
You can take any of the new guides that go flake first and treat the new commands and then revisit Nix Pills after you’ve done that. The old style commands do not seem to be really going away anytime soon so it’s best to have an idea of what they do and how they compare.
Zero to Nix is good but it does not treat anything in any amount of depth.
