What’s the advantage of doing the multi-user nix installation on the mac? I have two macs, and I installed nix using the single-user mode on one of them and multi-user mode on the other. Unfortunately, the multi-user mode gave me significant problems, especially around private github repos. I’m about to get a new machine and I’m wondering if I should stick with single-user installation.
I couldn’t find any information about the advantages of the mutli-user installation. There’s an unresolved github issue asking a similar question.
