My headset mic is not getting used, only the internal laptop mic is getting used, which is very noisy. This is probably because I’m using a combined jack. Some solution said to add “options snd-hda-intel model=dell-headset-multi” to /etc/modprobe/hda-model.conf or /etc/modprobe/alsa-base.conf but that didn’t work too. I have amd cpu and I don’t know if the process is different for these.
I am using Nixos on asus vivobook 15 with Ryzen 5 5600H
