Native nix on windows. Major blockers?

Just a curiosity.

Since Clang can produce native windows binaries and the microsoft’s STL implementation is now open source, what are the remaining blockers to have nix work natively on windows without the need for WSL? Are there major problems with distribution, licensing or just producing a working reproducible environment? Thank you.
