Neatvnc suddenly won't build, but hasn't had a new release in months

I’ve been using SDDM for weeks, but it started failing to build due to neatvnc. Isolating it from the rest of my system by using:

nix-shell -p neatvnc

And I get the following output: gist:0a883856cba2ff937539fa3b559e7de5 · GitHub

Looking at the github project, neatvnc hasn’t had a release since August, so I’m not sure why it’s failing now?

Is anyone able to point out what I’m doing wrong, or maybe confirm they can reproduce?
