Topic: “From OpenWRT One to an ereader: putting NixOS where it doesn’t belong”
The plan is to create a nix-related meetup in Amsterdam with some regularity. Initial thoughts are once per quarter, with two of the meetups serving as a sort of “release party” after the May and November releases.
Is this a nix-community NL meetup? No, but some of the people from the NixNL matrix channel are keen to join! Who knows, maybe we will merge with NixNL - I’m all for simplicity, but right now it’s a discrete effort.
Who am I? I just happened to notice that the Nix Amsterdam meetup was abandoned and I’ve been chatting with a few people in Amsterdam recently about a nix-related meetup, so I stepped up and took it over. I never went to these events back in 2016/2017, but I’ve been to nixcon a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed it.
