I have been having this issue for a while. I have posted earlier but I have not found a definite fix. I don’t know if it is good etiquette or not to try necroing the post again but I’m pretty desperately looking to solve it.

**Describe the bug**
All nix related commands segfault (nix eval, nix-shell, … nixos-rebuild, etc)
**Steps To Reproduce**
Step 1: Run `nixos-rebuild build-vm --flake github:DrMkdaddy/NixOS-Config#nixos`
Step 2: Sign in with the user `noor` there should not be a password. You should be immediately signed in.
Step 3: Run any Nix command.
**Expected behavior**
The nix command to resolve as expected (nix-shell -p package to spawn a shell with that package.)
**nix-env (Nix) 2.18.1**
**Additional context**
Coredump is attached.

The only working revision of Nixpkgs I know of is rev `12303c652b881435065a98729eb7278313041e49`
