Neat! I was also annoyed recently and hacked together a script that caches nix search results and uses rg. Its got no polish and problematic interface but I like not having to wait.

awesome. works like a charm. nice go cli tool. made it easy to find a new doom port nix run github:diamondburned/nix-search -- -v doom :heavy_plus_sign:
