I’ve forked and updated the nix shorts. I hope like I this they can be a good resource for people who are new to the nix ecosystem.
Reading all the documentation I could find around the web, it felt to me that the shorts collection format and level are good, just that the content was too outdated to be useful. I’ve tried to fix that here.
I’ve rewritten it a lot, updated it to use flakes where it makes sense and removed some stuff which I don’t feel is very useful or relevant for beginners.
Thanks for the people here who put up with me when first I arrived. I was quite frustrated and I hope a resource like this can help reduce the frustration of people like me going forward.
