I would love to get to know more of y’all in a casual setting! It’s nice having faces to associate with (user)names and personalities to associate with opinions.
I’m considering organizing a (possibly recurring) virtual social event where people can just come, hang out, chat, and rub shoulders. The idea would be not to have any talks or events focused around Nix, just an open social space. Maybe with some directed social activities if it feels like structure would be helpful.
I have in mind https://gather.town for the platform (this allows somewhat natural flow between multiple group conversations, as well as virtual board games and other embedded goodies).
