Hi everyone,

Branch-off will be done on Nov 19st.

Please visit the more detailed GitHub issue:
ZERO Hydra Failures 21.11

Let’s make 21.11 even more stable than 21.05 was! :nix_parrot:

The broken packages are getting less and less every year!
It would be interesting to know what are the main reasons for this: more maintainers? better CI/tooling?

Somewhat recently (I think) the release managers are consistently marking packages broken after ZHF. Maybe part of it is this inspires users and maintainers to fix their packages?

Either that or they’re still marked as broken when the next ZHF comes around, so it doesn’t consider them a failure?

It looks like one of my packages (python3Packages.pygls) is failing on Darwin in Hydra - Build 157533039 of job nixpkgs:trunk:cmake-language-server.x86_64-darwin, but I’m able to build it without any problems on my own machine (a Macbook Pro 2019 running macOS Monterey 12.0.1 with sand-boxing enabled).

It looks like the tests are hitting the open file limit (maybe because of all the other parallel builds going on in hydra?). Is there any way to configure this?
