It’s coming back for the 6th time, oceansprint.org is happening from 12th to 17th April in 2026. A week of Nix hacking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing in a beautiful seaside setting.

For reference, that collides somewhat with LixCon which starts on April 17th.

We have announced the sprint at NixCon in September 2025, there was no communication from Lix team that they are going do a conference the same month.
Given that we’ve already locked down with catering and other providers, those that want to go to both can skip one day of OceanSprint or LixCon, exciting times to be part of Nix community 
We have 23 signups for the sprint, I’ve added the deadline to apply on 20th January 2026 when we’ll also announce participants.
