I have installed Pano Gnome extension by adding the following to my system packages:
gnomeExtensions.pano
libgda6
gsound
But, when I go into extensions, I can’t enable it because it can’t check I have the correct Gnome version:
Yet, Gnome settings reports my version as 46, which is supported by Pano, according to their website:
Does anyone have any hints please?
(Bonus question: The pano extension has the two dependencies above which don’t seem to be provided by the package itself and have to be declared explicitly. Is there a reason for this? Intuitively I’d have expected to just install gnomeExtensions.pano and it would pull in any dependencies automatically.)

I think this is due to issues in the pano extension itself rather than the NixOS build. Here are some related bugs to track:

Since #264 adds support for gnome 46 it should be good in terms of GJS changes, … but while working on #265 I noticed some changes in the gnome-shell UI libraries, we also use. There are some changes that I, and presumably others didn't notice, since e.g. `Source` from [here](https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/blob/main/js/ui/messageTray.js) doesn't have `showNotification` anymore since GNOME 46, but it's called `addNotification`. But the types suggested it before, so while fixing types over at https://github.com/gjsify/gnome-shell we should check, if we need to change more types to check for gnome 45 / 46 compatibility at runtime.
