Pgadmin4 real "desktop mode"?

Hi,

I have been exploring NixOS as a replacement for my current Fedora 41 setup on my Framework laptop. One of the programs I use extensively for work is pgAdmin 4.

In NixOS, I noticed there is a “pgadmin4-desktop-mode” package, but it runs in the browser instead of functioning as a standalone desktop app like it does on Windows, macOS, Fedora, or Ubuntu.

Is there a way to install pgAdmin4 as a proper desktop application on NixOS that can be launched independently?

Thanks in advance!

I don’t know anything about this program, but found this.

Thank you for checking it. However, the “desktop mode” requires access through a web browser rather than functioning as a standalone desktop app.

An alternative I haven’t tried yet is installing the Flatpak version.
