Plasma 6 Black screen with only cursor Intel GPU

Hello everyone

I already did a long search (couple of weeks having this issue), but cannot seem to pinpoint to cause. I get a black screen with mouse cursor on my nixos plasma instance, it a larger config build with tiredofit (Dave Conroy) · GitHub nixos modules (inspirated).

I get this issue on both my framework intel gpu only laptop, as my ZBook Intel CPU + Nvidia gpu (with gpu powered on and off using bios - same issue).

My question is how i would go about finding the issue here? For example GNOME/Xfce/Hyprland are working perfectly. I get this issue with a clean install.
The strange thing is, my os and home-manager flakes are seperated. And when i solely build my os and technically my home folder is clean (only the home manager flakes data - not switched). I get this issue. When i create a test user and login, i get a clean and correct plasma instance.

When i sudo plasmashell --replace, i do get an plasma screen.

Has someone the same issues with plasma?

This happens to me when the lock screen kicks in and the display goes to sleep. When it comes back on, the login page doesn’t show, it’s just a black screen with a mouse cursor; I can however, enter my password and the display restores.

In my case it is not the lock screen. Fresh boot sddm, also when i restart the display-manager.
I get this after login

PS: I also tried plasma using gdm, same issue
