removing a duplicate package, and merging any improvements from the other package.

Would be nice to get it merged before the 26.05 branch-off (or actually the breaking change freeze) as otherwise it would be breaking.

I posted this about a month ago last time, and did in fact get a review, but haven’t heard back from the reviewer after a few pings. Today the program got a version bump and I’ve addressed that, as well as adding the now required __structuredAttrs = true; so I return to ask if someone could kindly review.

I’d really appreciate a review of this fix for nodejs.src disappearing.

I think the fix makes sense in its own right, but notably it fixes dream2nix working with more recent nixpkgs. dream2nix is dormant so working around it in dream2nix is not trivial.
