Packages [Yamtrack](https://github.com/FuzzyGrim/Yamtrack) and adds a module for it.
The package adds a script that executes the same programs as Yamtrack does in its docker container. This allows people to use Yamtrack both as part of the nixos module and by itself.
The nixos module also configures an nginx virtualHost which is necessary because yamtrack doesn't serve static files by itself.

`ghtkn` creates short-lived GitHub A… pp User Access Tokens for secure local development. I discovered it after learning that `gh`'s tokens don't rotate or expire! `gh` is working on adding short-lived refreshable tokens at cli/cli#14449, but `ghtkn` is an immediate solution and has other features like limiting the scope of tokens, see suzuki-shunsuke/ghtkn#651 for a feature comparison.

ghtkn creates short-lived (8 hours) GitHub App User Access Tokens you can use with gh (GitHub CLI) and other GitHub utilities, gh currently uses long-lived/non-rotating tokens with broad scopes. It’s by the author of pinact . Thank you for your time!

master ← fabiobittner:v4l2-relayd-buffers-and-restarts
opened 03:58PM - 27 Sep 26 UTC
###### Description of changes
Switching on `hardware.ipu6` gives a camera that … flickers off and on every few seconds, and that can then drop out entirely until the unit is reset by hand. Two things in the generated `v4l2-relayd-<instance>` unit cause this.
The loopback device is created without a buffer count, so it gets v4l2loopback's default of 2. That's not enough for GStreamer to keep writing while a consumer holds one, and the sink eventually gives up:
```
v4l2bufferpool <v4l2sink:pool0:sink> failed to allocate buffer
basesrc <appsrc> error: Internal data stream error.
V4L2_RELAYD output_pipeline_bus_call: Internal data stream error.
```
The relay exits, systemd restarts it, and the sensor powers off and on again — camera indicator light and all. With the camera in use this repeated every 2-13 seconds for me. The first commit adds a `bufferCount` option defaulting to 8 and passes it to `v4l2loopback-ctl add`.
The second problem is that the unit keeps systemd's default start rate limit. But `v4l2-relayd` is built to exit when its last consumer disconnects and to be brought back by `Restart=always`, so restarts are routine. Five of them in ten seconds is easy to reach, and then:
```
v4l2-relayd-ipu6.service: Start request repeated too quickly.
v4l2-relayd-ipu6.service: Failed with result 'start-limit-hit'.
```
Now the camera is gone until somebody runs `systemctl reset-failed`, and under `hardware.ipu6` it's gone for every application, because the module also disables the raw nodes in WirePlumber. Nothing in the symptom points at systemd — apps just report no camera. On a convertible, tilting the screen was enough to set it off. The second commit drops the rate limit and sets `RestartSec=1s`.
NixOS/nixos-hardware#2057 adds an X1 Yoga Gen 8 profile for the MIPI camera variant and is worth reviewing alongside this.
###### Things done
Tested on a ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 8 (i7-1355U, OV2740 sensor, `platform = "ipu6ep"`), kernel 6.18.52, v4l2loopback 0.15.4, v4l2-relayd 0.1.5. With eight buffers an active relay runs for minutes where it used to die within seconds — 30 fps, no dropped frames, about 9% of one core, no restarts. With the rate limit gone, a burst of restarts no longer kills the camera for good.
Both code paths were checked: the plain instance ends up with `add -x 1 -b 8 -n "Example card"`, the ipu6 override with `--exclusive-caps=1 --buffers 8 50`.
Two caveats. I only know that 2 is too few and 8 works, on one machine, so the default is worth a second opinion. And `hardware.ipu6` has no `meta.maintainers`, so I'm not sure who should look at that half.
There's one more symptom I did not touch, `buffer N was not queued, this indicate a driver bug` at roughly 30/s, which looks like the v4l2loopback DQBUF behaviour in v4l2loopback/v4l2loopback#656 rather than anything here. It doesn't break the pipeline.

This PR is for adding a new package.
master ← bittner:recordly
opened 09:09PM - 26 Sep 26 UTC
[Recordly](https://recordly.dev) is a screen recorder with a built-in editor, a … fork of `openscreen` which is already packaged.
Built from source with `buildNpmPackage` and `electron-builder --dir` against the nixpkgs electron, the same way `openscreen` is packaged.
The first commit adds me to the maintainer list.
Built and run on x86_64-linux. aarch64-linux is untested for lack of hardware, but nothing in the package is architecture-specific: `uiohook-napi` ships a linux-arm64 prebuilt alongside the x64 one and `autoPatchelfHook` handles both.
### Notes
- Linux only. The macOS build downloads whisper.cpp during the build, which cannot work without network access in the sandbox, and it compiles Swift ScreenCaptureKit helpers with `swiftc`. I have no macOS hardware to sort that out on.
- `ffmpeg-static` and `ffprobe-static` never unpack their binaries because install scripts are skipped. Recordly falls back to `ffmpeg` and `ffprobe` on PATH, which the wrapper supplies.
- Auto-captions run whisper.cpp. It is not wired in, because it adds roughly a gigabyte of closure and Recordly finds a `whisper-cli` on PATH by itself. Noted in `meta.longDescription`.
- `uiohook-napi` ships N-API prebuilts that `autoPatchelfHook` resolves against X11. They drive the click detection behind auto-zoom.
- The bundled `electron-updater` is switched off through `RECORDLY_DISABLE_AUTO_UPDATES`, as it would try to write to the store.
- `LICENSE.md` is the verbatim AGPLv3 text plus the original MIT notice from OpenScreen. The informal summary at the top adds trademark and attribution conditions, but these are not attached as AGPLv3 section 7 additional terms.
